SatisfactoryBasically no food options at lunchtime (scones, cereal, 2 types of soups). Weird layout. Pretty small. Immediately post security on gate A10 side.

Needs ImprovementDenied entry because "the holidays" meant no PP after 1pm, despite public marking of 3pm. Even while traveling Air Canada. Rude staff & poorly constructed, communicated, or executed policy.

Needs ImprovementGot here 2:40pm on a Sunday, lounge wasn’t busy, agent said they deny Priority Pass after 3pm but they denied me 20 minutes before that. YMMV
    AnonymousDecember 2018
Needs ImprovementReally bad. Took 5-10 minutes to get in because desk kept answering calls about other guests and then changed shifts. Washroom - 1 urinal out, the other a mess. Lounge was hot as heck and food sucked.

Needs ImprovementI was told I couldn’t access this lounge on a arrival boarding pass. It was the only one open at 5 am when I arrived on a redeye to take PP.
    ChrisOctober 2018
Needs ImprovementVery poor selection of food for breakfast. Muffins and cereal. The lounge opens at 5am, but not expect the get a Bloody Mary here. The bar service starts at lunch. Very small and uncomfortable.

Needs ImprovementYour breakfast options include cereal boxes and a broken toaster. Really pathetic tbh.
    AnonymousJuly 2018
Needs ImprovementWorst Air Canada lounge yet. It’s tiny, basic and front reception is bored and unfriendly.
    AnonymousJune 2018
Needs ImprovementNo access with AMEX Platinum or Sapphire Reserve after 3PM. Trash.
    AnonymousMay 2018
Needs ImprovementLimited hours make it pointless. No access after 3pm? Causes the only other PP lounge at airport to be overcrowded and then they deny access there. Priority Pass basically gets you no access at EWR.
    DavidApril 2018
Needs ImprovementDenied access with American Express Business Platinum unless filing in Air Canada metal. Denied access with Priority Pass as it was after 3:00pm.
    Steven March 2018
Needs ImprovementFor a Star Alliance Gold Lounge, it has a very limited food selection in the morning. WiFi is strong and plenty of space to work or relax.
    ThomasMarch 2018
Worth a DetourVery tiny. Quiet at 11:30am on a Wed. Tiny food options. Magic coffee machine. Liquor. No problems getting in w/ Priority Pass.
    GuyFebruary 2018
Needs ImprovementDenied access at 1PM while LB & Priority Pass app state access through 3pm. Quoted “We are not a Priority Pass lounge, we are an Air Canada lounge, so we make our own rules.” Lounge was empty.
    AnonymousJanuary 2018
Needs ImprovementOne of the worst lounges I have experienced. Left quickly and had a better experience with the standard amenities in the terminal.
    RussJanuary 2018
Worth a DetourLight snacks, soup + salad, cold drinks (beer, soda, bottled water), and liquor dispensers. Entrance is just after security, toward the front of the security corridor.
    EliDecember 2017
SatisfactoryWas turned away with my PP because I landed in Newark and they only allow entry to people departing Newark, seems to kind of defeat half the purpose of a lounge.
    AnonymousDecember 2017
SatisfactoryAs of 11/25/17 their ticket scanner is broken and are not allowing digital Priority Pass members in without their actual card..
    DallasNovember 2017
Worth a DetourPretty decent escape from Newark hustle bustle. Arrived at 4 pm and tried to use PP. No go. They accepted American Express Platinum Card to enter. Luckily that worked. Had a very pleasant experience.
    JohnNovember 2017
Needs ImprovementArrived at 5am. And alright selection of dry breakfast foods and oatmeal, although it was cold. Only selection of milk was whole or almond. Decent space to escape could improve food/drinks.
    KyleOctober 2017
Needs ImprovementWe were told no Priority Pass access after 3 pm. :-( (Today is 10/9/2017, Monday, Columbus Day holiday weekend.)
    Miwa October 2017
OutstandingIn comparison to the third world terminals of EWR this thing is luxury. Small, empty when I was there, had healthy and hot food, plenty of booze I did not drink. Dare we call it Canadian serenity?
    AnonymousSeptember 2017
Needs ImprovementI know it's 4:45 AM, but the posted sign says it opens at 4:30 AM. Lounges are supposed to be there when you need a break, not when the staff wake up and stroll in.
    AnonymousAugust 2017
SatisfactoryVery basic lounge, and presently has no liquor licence. Can get very full before the evening flight to Vancouver departs.
    AnonymousJune 2017
SatisfactoryNothing special, but Newark's terminals are so bad that it's worth a detour. The food selection could be better and they could definitely do a bit better job refilling the items.
    AnonymousJune 2017
SatisfactoryThis lounge stops accepting Priority Pass members at 3:00 PM.
    KristinaJune 2017
Worth a DetourPretty slim pickings as far as breakfast options - the United Club is better - but has the benefit of being very uncrowded.
    ConradJune 2017
Worth a DetourLounge is small, slim pickings for food; however, very clean and staff friendly. No adult beverages, plenty of nonalcoholic choices. A much better place to hang than the nasty terminals of Newark!
    Maria E. ValdezApril 2017
Needs ImprovementThis lounge replaced United Lounge. It is small & clean, but cannot handle the volume of people coming through. The checkin agent told me to sit whereever I could find a spot. No alcohol, light snacks.
    BruceJanuary 2017
Worth a DetourSmall lounge but the people are nice. There is no alcohol, at least today. The food is simple like at a United Club.
