SatisfactoryNot like the Centurion lounges. It’s an Amex branded Plaza Premium Lounge. Staff is friendly and it’s comfy, however, I didn’t like the food. Drinks were good.
    LeonNovember 2018
OutstandingGreat little lounge. Repeating: the lounge is tiny. The food was tasty and there were plenty of options.

Worth a Detour11.40 am on a Wednesday. Pretty quiet and pleasant. Not a bad spot to chill out. Only issue I would have is that the staff are busy busy. Not sure why. Anyway nice spot to relax when no one here.
    JamesOctober 2018
SatisfactoryQuite small and crowded. Most of the power points are not connected, so beware trying to get a charge before flying! Food OK.
    gumbyJune 2018
Worth a DetourHad long delay. Best lounge with regard to aesthetics. Small space esp. when crowded. Food was ok but not great. Smallish alcohol selection. Worth a visit when not crowded.
    AnonymousMay 2018
OutstandingVery private space with far less people than the other lounges.
    WilsonMay 2018
SatisfactoryNot a real Amex lounge like the one in SFO... this one is really small and crowded. Decent food offerings, but not a relaxing environment by any means.
    IsraelApril 2018
SatisfactoryAs noted by others this is a very SMALL space. Limited but OK variety of food. Staff both at check in and at food bar seemed completely disinterested in their jobs or in customer acknowledgement.
    AnonymousApril 2018
OutstandingA little cramped because of small area. Food and dessert selection were plentiful and all tasted good. Showers were great as well. No complaints at all, as long as you’re not here during peak hours.

Worth a DetourThis lounge is not up to par with US Centurion Lounges or other American Express Lounges around the world. The lounge is incredibly small and overcrowded. Food/drink selection is decent.
    LevellDecember 2017
SatisfactorySmall lounge but OK since it’s free for select AMEX cardholders. Good barista and range of food considering size of lounge. No shower but has reasonable view of the tarmac.
    Shaun October 2017
Worth a DetourModern lounge with a nice design. Can get very busy due to size, location, and access allowed. Food is decent. Cleaning staff were friendly while bar staff were not.
    AlekOctober 2017
Worth a DetourWorth checking out if you have complimentary access but as noted by others it's small and gets crowded. Food options ok. Spirits in the bar were not top shelf. Some of the furniture is a bit worn.
    CamAugust 2017
Worth a DetourSmall lounge. Platinum members are moved to SkyTeam lounge as overflow.
    SeanAugust 2017
Worth a DetourBusy lounge, just made it in. Surprisingly small but good food and drink selection and friendly staff working hard to keep it clean.
    TaggartMay 2017
Worth a DetourCan be crowded during peak times resulting in a wait list.
    William WuMay 2017
OutstandingI really liked this lounge. Like other reviews, it is small but it's also intimate. The food was really nice and they had a good selection of drinks and barista coffee.
    AnonymousApril 2017
Worth a DetourThis is a nice lounge, as noted by others quite small. Food is above average - specialty coffees are delivered to you. They should've made it larger!
    RickMarch 2017
Worth a DetourVery nice modern design. Excellent food & service. Just a bit on the small side. If it was bigger I would give it 4 stars.
    Nick GiannopoulosJanuary 2017
SatisfactoryThis looks like a nice lounge, but is tiny. I excitedly checked in, did a 10 second lap and went to SkyTeam lounge next door. Too many people, tiny lounge, no bueno.
    RobertJanuary 2017
Worth a DetourQuality club with good food and beverages, but way too small and as result often very crowded.
    LAflyerJanuary 2017
Needs ImprovementThis lounge is past capacity in the mornings with many flights to the US. They will send you next door to SkyTeam Lounge as it's the same operator. Much more room and nicer lounge.
    MattJanuary 2017
OutstandingThe lounge itself isn't huge but the food was good and the staff were great.
    LockieJanuary 2017
Worth a DetourSmall lounge - 50 pax capacity. Good runway and skyline views, power points, wifi, good food choices (make your own panini!), staff administered alcohol. Free to most Amex card holders.
    DavidJanuary 2017
OutstandingDon't be put off by the other reviews, this lounge is great, clean and friendly staff, grab a bite to eat and watch the planes come in.
    LukeDecember 2016
SatisfactoryWay too small and crowded and only one single occupancy bathroom. Small selection of breakfast food was acceptable but nothing special.
    ShannonDecember 2016
Worth a DetourWay too small for the number of people in here. Folks hovering trying to nab a seat as soon as one vacates (10am on a Fri). Showers shared with SkyTeam lounge downstairs. Quality drinks & baristas.
    Mark BrownDecember 2016
Worth a DetourNice little lounge, feels very private, I didn't really like the food options but it's okay. Has seats with power to charge your device.
    VictoriaNovember 2016
OutstandingVery nice lounge. Very tiny. But the food is good and it's clean and the staff are very nice.
    ThàisSeptember 2016
OutstandingThis was like a small version of the Centurion Lounge. They had real food, good service with attentive staff. I had a good time on my way to AKL.
    KeitaSeptember 2016
Worth a DetourMy preferred home lounge. It can be frantic and busy in the morning but the staff do keep coffees flowing and the buffet stocked. The sunrise is rather spectacular over the apron if that's your thing.
    SimonAugust 2016
Worth a DetourSmall lounge but good food, coffee and service.
    DavidJuly 2016
Worth a DetourSmall but comfortable lounge with all the usual trimmings, although the service is somewhat cold and robotic.
    Michael McKenna July 2016
Worth a DetourNicely decorated. The smallness of the lounge makes it cosy. The staff were friendly and attentive. I'm bugged out by the lack of vegetarian, gluten-free food.
    KiraMay 2016
OutstandingReally fresh lounge with extensive food and drinks. Only downside is the small number of bathroom facilities. Luxurious feel to with a great view of planes. Good alternative to normal airline lounges.
    Gareth ThompsonMarch 2016
SatisfactoryTiny lounge, very crowded. Food and drink not as good as NZ lounge.
    DavidMarch 2016
SatisfactoryLounge is small, and loud when busy. Lots of tripping and bumping into people. OK food options but not very comfortable to stay for more than a few minutes.
    CarlFebruary 2016
OutstandingWith my Westpac Altitude Black card, took myself and my wife in for free.
    Emilio CesaroJanuary 2016
Worth a DetourSmall but cosy lounge. Better than the mass crowd in Q lounge.
    teddy December 2015
OutstandingGreat find with a 7 hour layover! Looking to return when I come through again.
    BillOctober 2015
OutstandingFeels brand new although it's been open for almost a year. Small but very well done, great food, friendly staff, and nice modern design.
    DougJuly 2015
Worth a DetourVery comfortable lounge, small and intimate. Although the vegetarian food selection left something to be desired. Qantas Business has more options.
    PhilipJune 2015
OutstandingClean and modern. Friendly staff. Good food, drink, and coffee selection. Plenty of seats and power points to entertain yourself. Quiet, small, but lucky for us, it wasn't busy as only 7 others in there.
    Rob LamApril 2015
Worth a DetourSmall and cozy lounge with comfort and personalised service. Limited menu but hey, I am not expecting big spread.
    AnujApril 2015
OutstandingFantastic lounge and a real credit to Amex. Do not tell anyone.
    Anthony February 2015
Worth a DetourSmall and stylish. Great food and drinks. Was busy though.
    IrvinFebruary 2015
Worth a DetourSmall, boutique, and a fantastic surprise, was quiet on my visit. Great food & drink options, but the team working there made it a standout for me. I only feel this welcome usually in QF First Lounges.
    RyanJanuary 2015
OutstandingSmall, but well appointed. Plenty of power points, and nice selection of snacks and drinks.
    GethrynJanuary 2015
Worth a DetourOverall a comfortable lounge. It's on the smaller side and can get busy in the mornings. Great views. Solid buffet breakfast and nice premium drinks (grey goose, etc). Staff were wonderful.
    Zac 👾January 2015
Worth a DetourStill getting things smoothed out. Nice food & bev selection, big windows.
    KirkwoodJanuary 2015
OutstandingVery nice brand new lounge. Food and drink selection equal to the Westin hotel breakfast we had earlier this morning!
