Virgin America Lounge Access

Virgin America is one of the largest airlines in the United States, and was acquired by Alaska Airlines in 2016. Virgin America operates the Elevate frequent flyer program. Virgin America operates out of hubs at SFO and LAX. Their only lounge, The Loft, is now closed, but passengers now have access to the Alaska Lounge in Terminal 6.

Virgin America's Lounge Program

Virgin America passengers at LAX can access the Alaska Lounge. Previously, they operated The Loft, which has since closed following their move to Terminal 6. This lounge can be accessed by full fare first class passengers on Virgin America that are flying on an eligible long haul route from LAX to the East Coast. Additionally, Virgin Australia Velocity Gold and Platinum members, as well as Virgin America Elevate Gold members, have complimentary access. Lounge membership programs like Priority Pass, Lounge Club, and Lounge Key also provide access. Virgin America Elevate Silver members can purchase access at a discounted rate, and all other passengers can purchase access for $30. Outside of LAX, Virgin America passengers can purchase access to partner Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse locations in SFO, IAD, and JFK at rates that vary from $40 to $75.
