Air New Zealand is already well-known in airport lounge circles for managing the day-to-day operations of the Star Alliance Lounge Los Angeles. Now, the national airline of New Zealand has revived its flagship lounge in Auckland by changing the design and opening up in a new location inside the airport. In this Lounge Lowdown post, we'll cover more developments in the lounge industry, including the new Priority Pass brand refreshment and important news for Alaska Airlines Board Room members.
Second Board Room Coming To Seattle
Alaska Airlines has announced that Alaska's Board Room members and first-class ticket holders will have access to a new Board Room lounge in Seattle airport's North Satellite terminal starting from the 7th of November. Also, Board Room members can enjoy the United lounges in Philadelphia, Minneapolis and Phoenix from the 1st of December. Meanwhile, many Alaska's Mileage Plan program members are startled by the fact that they will lose access to Delta's Sky Club lounges. The disappointing change is effective from January 1, 2016.
Priority Pass Rejuvenates Brand
Priority Pass has undergone a brand refreshment, resulting in significant changes to the independent airport lounge service provider's membership experience. These changes include an updated website, brand new digital membership cards, smartphone apps, and exclusive member offers. As part of the brand rejuvenation, Priority Pass members can now visit 'Aspire, the Lounge and Spa' at London Heathrow Terminal 5.
